Debut Album with Joe Nicolo of Ruffhouse Records

Working with the producer of one of my (and the world’s) favorite albums of all time was surreal yet surprisingly comfortable…

Last week I got to work with Joe Nicolo of Ruffhouse records who produced countless artists we grew up with but my idol... Lauryn Hill.

My favorite part was the catalog of stories @joeycheez shared and the “constructive” criticism he freely doled out with his signature melodramatic effect.

Take a tour of Joe’s Garage with these pics and stay tuned for a crowdfunding campaign I’ll be running to pre-sell the album in order to fund the rest of the production and marketing efforts!

We’re working on a new sound- blending old and new, fun music to get us through the next decade and the second roaring 20s… music you can #shuffle and #swing to and laugh and cry to and not take yourself too seriously to.

Thanks to “The Mechanics,” Joe’s Session Players.. we knocked the instrumentals out in just a few hours.

Oh! And I also got to meet @tonylukejr at the studio and talk about his new foundation for mental health awareness!

Check them out!
